Donna Stewart is an award-winning writer, editor, developmental coach, and the author of Yoga Mama's Buddha Sandals: Mayans, Zapatistas, and Silly Little White Girls. Her work has appeared in Rock and Ice Magazine, Elevations Outdoors, AdventurePro Magazine, Inside/Outside, Overland Journal, The Durango Telegraph, Training and Development Magazine, DentistryIQ and New Mexico Magazine. Her first work, Yoga Mama's Buddha Sandals: Mayans, Zapatistas and Silly Little White Girls, was shortlisted for the Eric Hoffer Independent Book Award, earning an Honorable Mention. Her poetry is featured in the Writing the Rockies Anthology.

In addition to her work as an author and freelancer, Donna was a Senior Research Associate for Lore International Institute (since acquired by Korn Ferry International, one of Fortune Magazine's Most Admired Companies). She spent most of this time blissfully emerged in the deep research behind Executive Education and Executive Coaching, assisting in the research, editing, writing and production of white papers, research reports and five books on those topics, including Winning Behavior: What the Smartest, Most Successful Companies Do Differently, The Behavioral Advantage, The Elements of Power, The Elements of Influence, and What People Want. She has also worked on many books outside of the Executive Education field, including Roger Holzberg's Magic String, Rachel Brook's Three Great Teachers of Osteopathy, Maxwell Fravall's Osteopathy is in the Blood,  and Bradford Bancroft's Rehearse for Life.
